Preparing homes for a profitable sale is what we do best, and our recent project at Benowa just goes to show how thoughtful and strategic property styling can result in a huge transformation. Working with a blank canvas and bare bones, our property styling team filled this home with a curated selection of furniture and decor to appeal to the right buyers - and the end results really do speak for themselves!
We wanted to take you behind-the-scenes on this recent Gold Coast project, to show you exactly how we transformed an empty property into a beautifully furnished and visually appealing home. Keep reading to see the incredible transformation, with some before and after photos that really make a statement!
BEFORE:
Working with the amazing team at Professionals in Broadbeach, this 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom, waterfront house (including a seperate granny flat) was a great blank canvas for us to style our magic. With walls, floors and finishes in neutral white, pale grey and coffee tones, we weren’t restricted by the existing colours and shades that flowed throughout the property.
When creating a furniture hire package for this Benowa home, we concentrated on the key rooms of the property - showcasing the bedrooms and living areas to their fullest potential, while also styling the newly renovated kitchen, bathrooms and large outdoor entertaining area with decor and accessories to create a consistent look throughout the household.
AFTER:
We decided to complement the neutral tones and modern finishes of the property with a relaxed and contemporary furniture hire package that would also add some subtle colour into the space. With plenty of textiles, artwork and soft furnishings to complete the look, the end result was a comfortable and stylish space that really helped transport potential buyers into the home.
The open living rooms were a big focus for us, so we filled these with modern sofas and chic armchairs in light grey upholstery, paired with textiles in pale blue and teal tones. Plush cushions, textured rugs and soft throws created a homely and welcoming ambience. Botanical, tropical artwork helped to add some vibrancy to the space, while also tying in to the potted plants we positioned around the home.
We continued this modern theme into the dining area, with a statement wooden table paired with stylish upholstered chairs with timber framing. The table styling was another opportunity for us to inject some bright colour, with teal crockery and a lush floral arrangement completing the look.
The bedrooms were styled in shades of cream, navy, teal and olive tones, with a selection of soft furnishings, stylish accessories and statement artworks to create warm and inviting spaces. Each bedroom had its own unique point of difference to appeal to a wide range of buyers, with a colour scheme that flowed harmoniously throughout each one for a cohesive look.
We loved working with the Professionals Broadbeach team to furnish this beautiful Benowa home, which has now successfully been sold for an incredible price. You can see for yourself in the before and after shots how property styling really works to create a more visually appealing space to tap into the emotions of potential buyers, while also showcasing the home to its full potential!
