Recently on the blog, we featured the first half of a huge property styling project we undertook in Palm Beach (catch up here if you missed it!).
With 2 incredible duplex homes to fit-out, we furnished both spaces with furniture and decor hire packages to prepare them for the market - and were over the moon with the end result!
This week on the blog, we’re showcasing part 2 of this massive project, with the second duplex we staged for sale. Keep reading as we take you through a virtual tour of the completed home, along with a behind-the-scenes look into our property styling process and the strategies we used to maximise its value!
About the home
With modern open plan living, timber floorboards and crisp white walls, this recently renovated duplex had a gorgeous retro beach-house feel to it.
The existing colour palette of the home was light, fresh and neutral, with pops of pale blue and pastel yellow tiles complementing the coastal location at southern Palm Beach.
Featuring 4 bedrooms, 2 living areas, an outdoor Alfresco courtyard and self-contained parents retreat, we knew this home would appeal to both families and savvy investors, so it was important for us to create a furniture hire package that showcased the unique selling points of each space.
Our property styling strategy
When furnishing each area of the home, we wanted to complement the existing ‘beach house’ feel with a furniture hire package that represented a low maintenance, relaxed coastal lifestyle.
Keeping in line with the existing colours of the property, we styled the home with a palette of fresh white and pale grey tones, accented with subtle pops of blues and yellows. These colours were used throughout each area of the property, from the living and dining areas through to the bedrooms and parents retreat - creating a beautiful “flow” throughout the home.
Furniture selections were kept contemporary but comfortable, with linen lounges, timber coffee tables, cross back dining chairs and statement artworks. To really enhance the beach house appeal for our target market, we included coastal accessories like coral, trailing ferns and eclectic coloured vessels throughout different areas of the home.
We also incorporated plenty of textiles like cushions, floor rugs and throw rugs to make the space feel warm and cosy, along with natural materials like jute and rattan. This helped to create a homely and inviting feel - two very important factors for potential buyers, allowing them to form a strong emotional connection with the property.
We couldn’t be happier with the end result of this incredible project: a relaxed, contemporary and comfortable beach house filled with pops of colour and beautiful details!
