Stuck on how to design your bedroom now that the warmer seasons have arrived? Sick of the dark, moody colour palette plaguing your space? Have you been kicking off that extra blanket half way through the night and finding yourself waking with half of your linen cupboard, and socks on the floor? Then we suggest a bedroom update.
With any styling, it helps to have a plan — what mood or theme do you want to achieve? Creating your colour palette for your bedroom is so very important. We spend most of our time in our bedrooms… Well mostly sleeping but none the less you want the space to be relaxing, fresh, inviting and calm. You might like to use some of this season’s’ it' colours…..Or would you prefer a soft and romantic palette? Blush pink and soft grey is a winning combo right now.
Our stylists have created three very different bedroom looks to inspire you now that Spring has arrived. Spring is the perfect time to give your bedroom a much-needed update and create a positive and inviting space to help you survive the warmer seasons!
Tropical Oasis
Make your bedroom your own private tropical resort by incorporating moody tones and a neutral base. Throw in a few pops of colour through your greenery and artwork and viola.
Featured Products: Boston Bedhead, Breathless Artwork, Mallawi Cushions, Leiden Floor Lamp. You can also shop our full range of cushions and throw rugs here.
Beachy Hamptons
Being Gold & Tweed Coast based our designers are deeply experienced in both the coastal and Hamptons interior styling. So for this scene we thought we’d combine them to create a beautiful, inviting space that will be your own personal escape from the busy-ness of the world outside.
Moody Pastels
If you’re having trouble convincing the husband that ‘pink’ can be a neutral and doesn’t have to be labelled as ‘girly’… show him this space. Combining the pastel colours with pops of black will create the perfect, gender neutral (well close enough) space for the new season.
Featured Products: Pearle Bedhead, Botany Artwork, Versailles Cushion, Sonoma Cushion, Hinterland Throw Rug & Pavillion Floor Rug.
