Our interior design team have been working closely with Tweed Coast Holiday Parks this year, helping to update & refurb their accommodation options across Northern NSW.
You may remember seeing the Kingscliff Caravan Park & Pottsville South reveal a few months ago - and after receiving such amazing feedback, we wanted to share our latest completed cabins at Pottsville North!
Our designers were responsible for managing the entire refurbishment project, from providing an initial consultation and mood boards right through to selecting furniture, decor and accessories to complete the space. We also managed all trades - from scheduling periods of work per trade, to site visits and ensuring a timely completion of work.
Keep scrolling for some before and after shots to see exactly how this transformation unfolded.
The existing Pottsville cabins received a full external paint update, in neutral, coastal-inspired tones of deep navy, crisp white and grey-blue to provide a sense of calm and luxury. A fresh new deck stain and coral wall decor helped to complete the external update, making a welcoming first impression on guests while also tying in to the coastal surroundings with subtle nautical accents. To transform these beachside cabins, we replaced all internal and external light fittings along with repainting all window and door frames - absolutely everything was ripped out and re-done!

The cabin kitchens were completely gutted with a brand new kitchen, stone benchtops, cabinetry, hardware and appliances installed. We also introduced a sleek grey tiled splashback and replaced the ceiling fan with a more modern alternative to complement the fresh white finishes.
A new round dining table and chair setting was selected for functional dining, ensuring traffic flow would be practical while also making the room appear more spacious.

Throughout this open plan living area, fresh new floorboards replaced dated tiles with the dado wall also receiving a colour update in a beautiful pale grey-blue. We replaced old drapes with modern blinds, and swapped the hero artwork to a more contemporary print to inject a bold pop of coastal colour.
We introduced durable linen lounges in deep navy upholstery, complete with scatter cushions and cube coffee tables to maximise the available space. Although more furniture has been added, you can see how the colours, layout and furniture sizing actually makes the space feel bigger and more inviting, while still remaining practical for a high-traffic area.

Along with updating the flooring and wall colours, the main bedrooms also required a decor update with fresh new textiles and furnishings. In the master bedroom, we replaced the bed linen and introduced printed cushions and colourful artworks to create a relaxed coastal space. We also updated the side tables and moved light fixtures and powerpoints to more practical locations.
In the second bedroom, we chose a deep navy for the bunk bed frames while updating the ladder, blinds and bed linen. The transformed bedroom spaces feel light, airy, restful and relaxing, while also remaining functional with ample storage.

Finally, we gave the bathroom a major update to create a more luxe, high-end feel. Modern grey tiles were installed along with updated amenities, a new sink, hardware and timber cabinetry.
We couldn’t be happier with the end result of this design project and look forward to seeing visitors enjoy the new space!

Fantastic job team….they look amazing. Loving the deep navy colour scheme and of course I love all the art, however Jellyfish is an absolute standout for me! So pleased to be involved with this project and Tailored Spaces.
